"The hotel room was large and clean, and the staff was courteous. The pool, whirlpool, and exercise room were convenient, and breakfast was a hit.2022-06-08"
"Great room and amenities. Unfortunately, there was a party in the hotel parking lot at night that included loud music, drinking, and pot smoking. We complained to the front desk staff, and they were able to resolve the situation. At 4 AM, we heard someone slamming their door, which caused our dog to bark. The pet area was in terrible condition; the grass needed to be mowed, and the lighting was poor. Overall, our stay was terrible.2020-05-07"
"Away from downtown, but close enough to enjoy Reno. The hotel was clean and pet friendly, and the room was comfortable. Nice place to stay.2020-01-05"
"Close to the airport with a good shuttle. The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but the showerhead was stuck on hard massage.2019-11-12"
"The hotel was convenient to the airport. The heater didn't work, and neither did the bathtub stopper. The staff was wonderful. No pool or whirlpool. Limited breakfast hours.2019-01-13"
"Great room, though the TV was unplugged when we arrived. Breakfast was filling. Don't miss a chance to stay at this hotel.2018-04-11"
"The motel was inexpensive and near the airport. The room was clean, and the AC worked. The fiberglass bathtub bent underfoot and made loud popping noises. No complimentary airport shuttle, and no breakfast.2021-06-02"
"I didn't initially get a handicap room as requested, so I had to wait for one. The room had cockroaches, and the carpet was stained. Not enough electrical outlets. There was mold in the shower. Don't stay here.2019-08-21"
"The hotel was safe, and the rates were low. The bathroom was disassembled, with pipes and parts everywhere, so I was moved to another room. The 2nd room was fantastic. The hallways were dated, though, and the carpet was in bad shape. Parking was awful.2019-10-11"
"A decent hotel for the price. The employees were friendly and helpful.2017-07-22"
"Nice hotel. The front desk clerk upgraded my room and let me check in early.2016-07-11"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
