"The hotel exterior looked old, but the lobby and eating area were clean. The heating and cooling unit was noisy; I had to ask for maintenance, and he said the bent cover was the source of the noise, so he took it off. The bedsheets were nice and soft, and I liked the duvet cover. The pillows were too soft. The carpet was stained. The caulking in the bathroom needed cleaning, and the toilet tank cover didn't fit. On a positive note, a make-up remover kit was provided. The check-in clerk was polite and professional. The elevator was small and shook.2022-11-06"
"Good hotel. The staff was nice and friendly.2022-07-27"
"Central location not far from the airport. The hotel room was clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast, and nothing ran out early. Great place to stay.2022-05-17"
"The room was filthy and awful. The furniture was damaged, and the fridge was missing. There were holes in the walls, and the shower didn't work and didn't have a stopper. The vending machines were empty. Don't stay at this hotel.2023-02-27"
"The hotel was really dirty, and the staff wasn't friendly at all. Don't stay here.2020-08-19"
"The hotel was clean, relatively quiet, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy access without a lot of stairs. No elevator.2016-08-05"

"The hotel was clean and newly remodeled. The room was nicely laid out, with a comfortable bed and beautiful loveseat. The employees were friendly. We were happy we chose to stay here.2019-05-21"
"Our hotel suite was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Loved the feather pillows. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool, exercise room, and fire pit, but hope to stay longer in the future. Great food. We were impressed.2015-05-11"

"The hotel room was nice and clean. The check-in clerk seemed in a hurry to get me in my room and didn't even tell me the wireless Internet password. Breakfast was OK if you like quick food with little nutrition. If you want something healthy, bring it yourself.2017-11-28"
"The hotel had roaches. Find another place to stay.2016-08-03"

"Definitely stay at this hotel. The only issue was that we asked for a late checkout, but the clerk didn't pass it on to the cleaning crew.2023-09-02"
"A wonderful, affordable hotel with nice rooms and helpful personnel. It was in the middle of town, but quiet and secure. The room had a kitchenette, and there was a pool for the family to enjoy. I was able to store our luggage in the lobby until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was included. Short walk to Jason's Deli, and close to the University of Nebraska. This was a perfect place to stay.2018-07-08"

"A miserable experience. The people in the room upstairs were noisy. I told the front desk clerk twice, but nothing was done. One of the stove burners didn't work, and the microwave sounded like it was going to blow up. The mattress slid off the bed, and the chairs weren't comfortable. The towels were paper-thin. I had to take my trash to the dumpster myself. Don't stay at this hotel.2019-09-11"
"Convenient to medical centers. Other than not getting enough washcloths, this hotel was a great place to stay. Be aware that the parking garage isn't free.2024-01-28"

"I'm handicapped, but the hotel clerk said my room was on the 2nd floor; there was no elevator, so housekeeping cleaned a 1st floor room for me. No breakfast because of Covid.2021-01-28"
"The hotel was OK for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. The room could've been cleaner. I couldn't sleep because of loud music and yelling; I called the front desk and was told there was nothing that could be done.2020-07-31"
"Good experience. The hotel room was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Expect good service.2019-02-06"
"A mixed experience. The room was clean when I arrived, but it was never serviced again during my 2-night stay despite multiple interruptions by the housekeeping staff. The hotel employees were uniformly friendly and accommodating, but my breakfast order took over an hour to arrive, and it was in a paper bag and Tupperware. Lower your expectations. The basics needed refreshing. There was no champagne for mimosas at the Sunday brunch, and the bartender wasn't well-versed in making drinks.2019-09-02"
"Great bed, and breakfast was outstanding. Be sure to book the hotel's breakfast package.2015-09-24"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
