"Central location not far from the airport. The hotel room was clean, and the staff was nice and helpful. Excellent breakfast, and nothing ran out early. Great place to stay.2022-05-17"
"Our hotel stay was mediocre. The room was clean enough, but the baseboard was damaged, and there was damaged plaster in the bathroom. The toilet didn't flush well and overflowed, but the problem was taken care of promptly. The employees were just OK.2021-06-18"
"My stay at this hotel was awesome as usual. The front desk clerks are friendly, breakfast was nice, and the food was good. Stay here.2021-02-05"

"The hotel was clean, relatively quiet, and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy access without a lot of stairs. No elevator.2016-08-05"
"The bathroom wasn't that clean, and there was black mold on the shower curtain. The hotel staff was really nice, but I don't recommend staying here.2016-07-17"
"A terrible experience. The beds had stained, and the carpet needed vacuuming. The shower didn't work, and the hotel clerk didn't speak much English. Don't recommend this hotel.2015-10-08"

"The hotel was clean and newly remodeled. The room was nicely laid out, with a comfortable bed and beautiful loveseat. The employees were friendly. We were happy we chose to stay here.2019-05-21"
"Our hotel suite was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Loved the feather pillows. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to enjoy the pool, exercise room, and fire pit, but hope to stay longer in the future. Great food. We were impressed.2015-05-11"
"Awesome, central location. The hotel was nice and clean, and the customer service was pleasant.2021-05-11"
"Easy access to UNO and the Aksarben area. The hotel was quiet and clean, and a workout room was available.2019-02-20"
"An excellent hotel. The room was modern, spacious, and reasonably priced. I was able to use my Netflix account.2018-11-01"
"The drawers in our room wouldn't stay closed, and the bathroom door wouldn't lock. The fridge was warm. I was charged $1 more than the listed price for a fruit bowl at breakfast, and I was billed $16 by the restaurant when I'd paid cash; there was no manager at checkout to reverse the charges. The snow wasn't sufficiently cleared from the sidewalks in the back lot. I won't be staying at this hotel again.2018-01-07"
"The hotel room was large and beautiful. Excellent staff. Breakfast wasn't free, but it was delicious.2017-11-29"
"I had a terrible stay at this hotel. Don't stay here.2021-03-29"
"There were sketchy people milling about in the lobby. I inquired about bedbugs and was told there was a recent infestation. Don't stay at this hotel.2020-06-15"
"The room was really nice, and the hotel clerks were helpful. Good choices at breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again.2019-01-29"
"The room was small, and the desk chair was a glorified lawn chair. It was dirty and uncomfortable. The carpet was badly stained and felt dirty. The bathtub was badly stained, and the shower curtain was too short and quite flimsy. It blew outward when I showered, and water got on the floor. No hot selections at the continental breakfast. Don't stay at this hotel.2017-09-27"
"The hotel room was clean, and the staff was accommodating.2018-06-19"
"The hotel room was nice and clean. The check-in clerk seemed in a hurry to get me in my room and didn't even tell me the wireless Internet password. Breakfast was OK if you like quick food with little nutrition. If you want something healthy, bring it yourself.2017-11-28"
"The hotel had roaches. Find another place to stay.2016-08-03"
"Good location. The hotel had been recently updated and had friendly personnel.2016-05-23"
"The hotel wasn't close to I-80, but it was close to shops. The room was clean, but the toilet was too close to the sink. 2016-03-11"
"There was no hot water the 1st morning. Later that night, someone pulled the fire alarm. The rest of the time, all I could hear was traffic. Don't stay at this hotel.2021-10-27"
"Nice hotel room. Long wait for the elevator.2021-10-14"
"The hotel was dark and dated, and needed renovation. OK for one night.2021-08-21"
"We enjoyed our hotel stay. It started out a little rocky, but the staff was great and the problems were solved quickly. The TV didn't work, and the room was a little warm. We were able to open the window a bit to get some fresh air. There were lots of restaurants in the area, including Cheddars and Village Inn. Good experience overall.2019-05-04"
"I loved this hotel and will definitely stay again.2017-06-08"

"A wonderful, affordable hotel with nice rooms and helpful personnel. It was in the middle of town, but quiet and secure. The room had a kitchenette, and there was a pool for the family to enjoy. I was able to store our luggage in the lobby until we were ready to leave. Breakfast was included. Short walk to Jason's Deli, and close to the University of Nebraska. This was a perfect place to stay.2018-07-08"

"A miserable experience. The people in the room upstairs were noisy. I told the front desk clerk twice, but nothing was done. One of the stove burners didn't work, and the microwave sounded like it was going to blow up. The mattress slid off the bed, and the chairs weren't comfortable. The towels were paper-thin. I had to take my trash to the dumpster myself. Don't stay at this hotel.2019-09-11"

"I'm handicapped, but the hotel clerk said my room was on the 2nd floor; there was no elevator, so housekeeping cleaned a 1st floor room for me. No breakfast because of Covid.2021-01-28"
"The hotel was OK for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer than that. The room could've been cleaner. I couldn't sleep because of loud music and yelling; I called the front desk and was told there was nothing that could be done.2020-07-31"
"Good experience. The hotel room was clean, quiet, and reasonably priced. Expect good service.2019-02-06"
"The hotel staff was friendly. I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door each day, and housekeeping left sticky notes telling me to let them know if I needed anything. The hot water in the breakfast room had a strong coffee tint; I finally gave up and got tea elsewhere.2018-09-16"
"Clean hotel with friendly personnel and good parking. We'd stay here again.2018-06-29"
"A mixed experience. The room was clean when I arrived, but it was never serviced again during my 2-night stay despite multiple interruptions by the housekeeping staff. The hotel employees were uniformly friendly and accommodating, but my breakfast order took over an hour to arrive, and it was in a paper bag and Tupperware. Lower your expectations. The basics needed refreshing. There was no champagne for mimosas at the Sunday brunch, and the bartender wasn't well-versed in making drinks.2019-09-02"
"Great bed, and breakfast was outstanding. Be sure to book the hotel's breakfast package.2015-09-24"

"Lovely hotel and wonderful staff. You'll love it.2015-08-30"
"We stayed at this hotel for 13 nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fabulous made-to-order breakfast. The cooks were accommodating, and watching them was entertaining. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily happy hour. Great place to stay, and close to the highway.2015-07-04"

"The hotel had no Covid-19 precautions. Our room wasn't properly cleaned, and there was hair on the carpet and the wall by the bed. The bedskirt was dirty, and the recliner was filthy; there were even dead bugs under the seat cushion. The printer in the business center was out of ink. No breakfast. Worst of all was the employee who had apparently contracted the virus and hadn't been tested since returning to work. The exterior door in back wasn't locked, and the door handle plate was missing. Don't stay here.2020-06-01"
"An excellent hotel in every way. The room was clean, spacious, smoke-free, and quiet. Exceptional customer service; the employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Fresh, healthy food at breakfast. Highly recommend.2017-05-06"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
