"There was a pervasive odor of cigarette smoke throughout the motel, and it carried into the room and linens. Look for other options.2018-12-12"
"My stay was fine. The room was spacious and clean, and the motel staff was friendly and helpful, especially the front desk clerks. Be aware that there's no elevator.2016-10-19"
"The employees were friendly, but the motel was run-down. The room wasn't that clean, and there were some missing lightbulbs. Find another place to stay.2021-03-29"
"The motel was clean and wasn't bad, but the people in the room upstairs banged and stomped until 3 AM. I called to complain, but the problem wasn't addressed. We asked for an extra blanket and were told there weren't any. Make sure your room is on the top floor.2018-05-23"
"The room was clean, but the rest of the motel wasn't. Needed better soundproofing; I could hear people in the surrounding rooms and upstairs. The front office wasn't inviting, and the hallways smelled like smoke and disinfectant. Minimal continental breakfast. I heard people using their key cards to enter the building all night. I'd never stay here again.2018-01-31"

"The motel was noisy at night, so ask for a room away from the office, elevator, and stairs. Even though I put a Do Not Disturb sign on the door, someone entered my room and I returned to find the door open.2020-06-03"
"A good, pet friendly motel. The building was nice, but the room was small. The front desk clerks were professional.2019-11-19"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
