"I asked for a late checkout and got one with no problem. Good hot breakfast, too. Stay at this hotel.2017-03-01"
"OK rates. Good hotel. Stay here.2016-05-05"
"Close enough to Mall of America, but away from all the traffic. The hotel room was clean, and the staff was courteous. Don't hesitate to stay here.2015-08-15"
"The room was fine, but the common areas could've been cleaner. Great hotel staff.2019-04-11"
"The room was nice, clean, and quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The heater fan was really loud and screeched all night long. The were slushy, slippery snow on the front sidewalk and interior entryway; little shoveling had been done on sidewalks or the parking lot. The hotel clerk was ordering pizza when I entered and didn't look up, but someone else finally came to check me in. 2019-02-12"
"The hotel room was dusty, the closet door was broken, and there was an old shirt left in the drawer. We were moved to another room.2018-10-06"
"Nice spacious room. Good shower. It was clean except for some bits of paper on the carpet, and the soap shelf needed cleaning. Good big-screen TV. The hotel clerks were friendly and helpful. The boxed breakfast had a lot of dairy. Nice place to stay; I recommend it.2021-06-22"
"The beds in my hotel room were comfortable, but the pillows were small. Good TV channel selection. Excellent complimentary breakfast to feed hungry teen boys; there were lots of hot and cold selections.2016-04-29"
"This hotel was pretty bad. The room was small, but the bathroom was smaller; I practically had to crawl into the bathtub in order to close the door. The sink was outside the bathroom, and there was no counter or place to put toiletries. The microwave and refrigerator were on the floor of the portable closet, and the microwave cord wasn't even long enough to reach the outlet. I had to move them to the desk and charge my devices on the floor by the bathroom sink. The bedside lamp didn't work. The hot water was just lukewarm. The cookies in the lobby were hard. Stay somewhere else.2016-04-19"

"I had a really great stay. Loved the location west of the airport, and the price was good. The hotel looked newly renovated. Pets were allowed, and there was an airport shuttle. The beds were super comfortable. Good Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot. You can't go wrong staying here.2021-07-10"
"The hotel was clean and quiet, but the AC was a little loud. Good place to stay.2021-07-10"
"Nice location. The hotel was clean, and I liked the decor. The staff was great and helpful, and we used the park option for our trip. I highly recommend staying here.2018-09-04"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
