"The rates were reasonable. The motel room wasn't clean enough, and Covid precautions weren't followed. We were glad we only had to stay one night.2021-09-14"
"The room was clean and basic, but the handicap room was a disappointment; the doorless bathroom could accommodate a wheelchair, but that was it. The sink wasn't accessible, and the toilet was quite low with no grab bars. The hotel clerk couldn't help.2021-07-05"
"The motel was clean and quiet. I'd stay here again.2018-12-07"
"Good value. The motel room was clean and had a fridge, microwave, king bed, and whirlpool. The employees were friendly.2018-08-06"
"The room and staff were pleasant, but the bed was the most uncomfortable I've ever encountered at a motel. I might as well have slept in the parking lot with a brick for a pillow.2016-09-25"
"The hotel was quiet and conveniently located. Clean room and bathroom, and the bathroom looked recently updated. The staff was friendly, helpful, and eager to accommodate us. There was a pool, exercise room, and laundry facilities.2019-07-07"
"The hotel lobby smelled bad. No microwave or fridge in the room. Pay a bit more to stay somewhere else.2017-08-08"
"Cheap for a reason. The hotel clerk was nice, welcoming, and astute, but the room was a downer. It smelled musty and smoky. Only one bottle of shampoo provided, and the toilet paper roll kept falling apart. The towels were of poor quality. Breakfast was only OK because it was free.2016-05-06"
"The hotel could've been cleaner, but it was quiet. Not bad for the price. Nice pool.2015-09-08"
"Nice hotel, but the carpet badly needed to be cleaned. It turned our feet black.2015-06-18"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
