"OK hotel, but it needed updating. Very nice staff, but we were initially given an already-occupied room. We weren't notified that the elevator wasn't working Sunday morning. Decent breakfast buffet, though the fruit looked a little tired.2019-09-30"

"Our family had 3 suites, and we were all extremely happy with the rooms, cleanliness, and breakfast. Our only complaint was that the pool was too cold, and the whirlpool was out of order. A good choice.2015-02-13"
"Good location near restaurants and gas stations. The hotel was great, but we had to wait 20 minutes to check in, and the clerk didn't direct us to our rooms. The heater was noisy, and the sink leaked; we had to keep the bathroom door shut so we could sleep.2021-11-16"
"There was a burn hole in the bedsheet, lint on the carpet, and fingerprints in on the windows. No bottled water provided. There was hair on the back of the toilet seat, and the shower drain wasn't clean. The airport shuttle was prompt. Good breakfast, but items ran out early.2021-09-28"
"The hotel was clean and had nice amenities, but our room was right next to the noisy elevator. We could also hear noisy people in other rooms and the hallway. I finally called the front desk to complain, and it quieted down after that. The checkout clerk did offer a discount, which I appreciated.2016-10-04"
"Great experience. The hotel was convenient to many stores, and there were restaurants nearby. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Good breakfast. I recommend staying here; it's worth the price.2022-06-02"
"The carpet outside our hotel room was dirty, and the bathroom was dated and not that clean. No hair dryer. The pool was empty. Breakfast hours were 6-10 AM, but when we got there at 6:45, it wasn't set up yet. Don't stay here.2021-08-08"
"Covid rules weren't fully explained at check-in. No blankets for the bed, and not enough towels or toilet paper provided. Daily housekeeping wasn't provided. The bed sagged in the middle, and water leaked in the windows during a storm. Don't stay at this hotel.2020-11-15"
"Not too bad for a lower-end hotel. It was older, and it showed in the cracked tiles and worn carpets. The staff was helpful and friendly. If you're looking for luxury, you should probably keep looking.2015-06-02"
"The hotel was quiet, and I slept well. The manager was terrific and helpful. I was given restaurant information, which was helpful due to Covid-19. Take advantage of the great shopping and dining in the area. We'll definitely stay here again.2020-04-18"
"The hotel was dated, and the room wasn't that clean. The carpet was stained and tattered. There was a hole in the curtain. The bathroom floor and mirror needed cleaning. The shower curtain had hair on it. Limited breakfast selections. If you plan to pay with cash, do so upon check-in. The clerk asked for a credit card for incidentals.2023-04-03"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
