The northern terminus of this section of I-49 is north of Texarkana, Arkansas at US 71. We are not aware of any hotels on I-49 between Texarkana and Shreveport.
NOTE: There is a gap in I-49 in Shreveport. Southbound I-49 traffic is directed onto I-220 west to I-20 east. Exit 17B off I-20 returns travelers back onto I-49.

To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10.
