"The rates were low. I had to navigate 3 police cars at the hotel entrance when I arrived. Looked clean, but the room and bed smelled like body odor. The bedsheets were scratchy, and the slippery bedspread kept falling off the bed. Slow Internet connection. The kitchenette wasn't stocked, so I had to ask for every little thing I needed. No toilet paper or trash can in the bathroom, so I had to ask for those, too. I didn't feel safe and didn't enjoy my stay.2017-04-08"
"The hotel was fairly comfortable and clean, though I saw a few spiders and ants. Ask for a room on the top floor and away from exit doors so you don't have to listen to people walking around and going in and out all the time. Good experience.2015-08-30"
"The hotel was reasonably priced and had a lot of amenities. The room was clean and comfortable, and the front desk clerk was friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend staying here.2021-10-24"
"Our room was nice, and the beds were great. The bathroom wasn't as clean as we'd have liked. The pool was small but had enough chlorine in it. Superb breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel.2021-08-03"
"Good hotel. One clerk helped me get a ride to my destination; she was caring and took time to assist me. I'd definitely stay here again.2021-06-21"
"The hotel clerk exceeded my expectations and made me feel incredibly welcome. Other employees were also helpful and attentive. I felt like I was at a home away from home.2019-07-22"
"I felt safe here. The hotel clerks were helpful but forgot the wake-up call I requested. Good place to stay.2018-12-14"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
