"The hotel was clean, and we felt safe even with the coronavirus issue. The staff was friendly.2020-05-02"
"Excellent hotel; better than I expected.2015-08-18"
"Noise from highway traffic and the child next door were a problem. The blackout curtains didn't overlap, so some light came in. Nice employees, especially the breakfast attendant. Don't recommend this hotel.2015-06-17"
"Great hotel. The room was clean, and breakfast was substantial.2019-06-18"
"I had a pleasant hotel stay. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were surprised by how quiet it was since it was next to a busy road. The staff was nice, and the pool and exercise room were enjoyable. We'd stay here again.2018-07-15"
"I had a pleasant stay. The hotel was clean and quiet, though it needed some updating. The windows opened wide, so a child could easily climb out. The staff was friendly, and breakfast was good. We'd definitely stay here again.2018-06-10"
"The hotel room and service were fine, but breakfast left much to be desired.2021-03-20"
"I was so pleased with our stay; it was the little things that made this hotel great. It was clean and well-maintained, and the room had a coffee maker and blackout curtains without holes. There was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. The staff was personable and helpful, and the pool and whirlpool were great. Good breakfast with something for everyone. You won't be disappointed.2019-04-01"
"The hotel clerk put us in a 2nd floor room in a building without an elevator. After much debate, we were able to change to a ground floor room. The room had poor lighting, and the Internet connection was slow and unsecured. Look for another option.2017-03-24"
"The hotel was clean, and the room was nicely furnished. Had a Keurig coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and I liked the updated white bedding. Free cookies at check-in were a welcome touch. The hotel was pet-friendly, too.2015-05-22"

HotelGuides made it easy to choose a hotel based on how far we wanted to get that day. Also liked being able to see the interstate interchange on the map to determine how far off the highway each hotel was.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
