"The motel was pretty run-down and needed renovation and new landscaping. The room smelled like stinky feet, and a maintenance worker came and switched out the chair in our room while we were trying to get ready. My husband's bed made noise every time he moved. An alarm went off at 1 AM and woke us up, though we never found out what it was. We were disappointed that the whirlpool was out of order. The staff was nice, but there's no incentive for us to return.2017-06-12"
"Great value. The motel room was nice, clean, and quiet. Efficient check-in and checkout. There was a plumbing problem, but everything was fine otherwise. Wonderful staff. I'd stay here again.2017-04-17"
"The room and bathroom were clean. Good stay.2017-03-30"

"The hotel was clean, but the room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we had to wait to check in. The heater didn't work, but the room was nice. Be aware of the parking fee.2020-01-18"
"The hotel was new. I liked the spacious bathroom, but the sofa bed was lousy. The night clerk was rude. No on-site restaurant, and the one next door was way too expensive. 2019-07-01"

"Conveniently located. The room was modern, comfortable, and well-appointed. The hotel clerks were professional, friendly, and offered several great dining suggestions. LeRoy's served excellent meals and drinks, and the staff was proficient. No taxi service in town. I highly recommend staying here.2019-10-29"

I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
