Day of the week – business hotels have lower prices on weekends.
Whether a professional sports team or major concert is in town.
Who you are – AAA members, seniors, business travelers, and government and military personnel are often eligible for discounts.
When you make your reservation – you can sometimes negotiate a lower last-minute rate, if the hotel has a vacancy.
