"The hotel was new and clean, but the vending machines didn't work.2019-06-19"
"Excellent hotel with good customer service. The room was comfortable. Poor wireless Internet access, especially in the evening. The fee included shuttle service, unlimited access to tea, coffee, and water in the lobby, and complimentary breakfast. The gym was nice, and there was a 7-Eleven store on the 1st floor.2015-10-23"
"Good experience. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly.2018-10-06"
"What a beautiful hotel. Make reservations; you'll enjoy your stay.2017-07-10"
"Nice area with plenty to do. The hotel room was nice and clean, and all the employees were exceptionally nice. We were able to leave our car when we went on a cruise, and the shuttle to the cruise terminal was a plus. Great place to stay.2016-08-14"
"Nice hotel with everything we needed. Check out the pool. Roy's across the street was good.2020-01-22"
"The heating and cooling unit in our hotel room kept going off at night, so we didn't get any sleep. We weren't told that self-parking didn't have in-and-out privileges, but valet parking did.2016-11-28"

"The hotel room was clean and large, with a fridge and microwave. The rates were affordable. All the employees were friendly.2022-04-28"
"Nice, safe environment, but hotel guests left their trash outside their rooms in the hallway, so we smelled trash every time we left the room. Good place to stay other than that.2022-01-03"
"Close to good restaurants, and the view of the harbor was amazing. The room was lovely, and the beds were super comfortable. The hotel manager provided fantastic customer service. We had a wonderful stay.2019-11-26"
"A pleasant and quiet hotel with courteous personnel. Great place to relax. I definitely recommend staying here.2016-09-19"
"This is a wonderfully appointed hotel in a historic area on a pier. Good place for walking to area restaurants and enjoying the history of Baltimore.2016-08-06"
"The hotel was cute, but the blankets on my bed were stained. The coffee bar and Reflate bar weren't open.2022-03-24"
"Nice hotel for the price. The room was pleasant, with minimal furniture and a great bathroom. I was quite satisfied.2019-04-01"
"The room was nice, but the open shower left the bathroom floor quite wet. No fridge in the room. We heard some street noise since the hotel is close to the Inner Harbor. Check-in was great, and the clerk gave us tips about restaurants and places of interest. We had a pleasant, comfortable stay.2018-12-11"
"The hotel room was nice and spacious, and the staff was accommodating. They went out of their way to get transportation for us. Breakfast was a plus. Good place to stay.2015-12-21"
"We were disappointed that the hotel put our group in rooms on different floors.2016-06-09"
"OK room, but there was a big hole by the drain in the shower. The hotel bar was pricey, as was the room rate.2015-08-25"
"Doorman greeted us when we arrived. Bellhop got our luggage and told me where to park before escorting us to our room. Entire staff from beginning to end was pleasant and helpful, but we were told restaurants were open when they were actually closed.2015-01-21"
"I loved having a kitchen in my suite, but the window shade was broken; it made the room look shabby. The hotel clerk tried to fix it, but it needs to be replaced.2021-05-10"

"Walk to everything, including a great grocery store, Street Market, and there was a bus stop a block away. The room was clean, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on. The staff was helpful. We felt like we were at home and extended our stay, then took the shuttle to the airport. We were pleased with our stay.2016-01-12"

"The hotel was bright and clean, and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. The only problem was that I called before arriving, and no one answered the phone. I recommend staying here.2019-04-10"
"Walk to the Lyric Opera House. The motel seemed overpriced. My room was dark, and the window looked out at a brick wall. The furniture needed serious repairs. The check-in clerk was helpful if I asked a specific question, but didn't offer any information. The valets were nice, polite, and helpful; one even gave me directions to my show venue. An OK place to stay, but I wouldn't stay for more than a night.2016-04-19"
"I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.2015-07-09"

"Not worth the price. The hotel setting wasn't comfortable. No coffee or tea in my room, and no bottled water or toiletries. I had to go to the front desk to ask for supplies. The Bistro was closed due to an event, so I had to go out to eat. 2023-07-28"
"The hotel was clean and conveniently located. The employees were friendly, courteous, and helpful.2022-02-07"
"The hotel room was large and had great beds. The customer service was phenomenal; the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to meet my needs. Excellent food and beverage service. Book it.2019-11-28"
"An OK place to stay in the historic part of town. Convenient to the Baltimore-Penn Amtrak station. The rates were reasonable. The hotel room was quite clean, but the heater didn't work and there was no sign to indicate that the wall switch had to be turned on. The front desk clerks were nice and helpful.2020-01-06"
"Good hotel stay. The room was quite small, and there was no green space for dogs. I didn't feel particularly safe walking in the neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful.2018-08-29"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
