"Great location. The hotel was clean, quiet, and wonderfully decorated. The AC in our room worked extremely well. Excellent personnel; they went out of their way to meet our needs. Outstanding in-room breakfast. Happy hour in the atrium was enjoyable and relaxing.2015-07-27"
"Prompt and professional check-in. The staff was courteous and responsive.2021-07-26"
"Good location, but the hotel was a bit run-down. The grab-and-go breakfast wasn't good or well-stocked.2021-05-10"
"We were disappointed with this hotel. We asked to have our room cleaned while we were out, but the bedding wasn't changed. The ironing board was propped against the wall instead of put away in the closet. The pillows were just thrown on the bed, and hangers were left on the sofa and hanging from a light fixture. Breakfast was a la carte and not very good, and there was only one elevator. Not a good experience.2016-05-04"

"The hotel room was wonderful and an excellent value.2022-02-27"
"A pet-friendly hotel. Not all the rooms have a microwave, and the one in the breakfast area was dirty one day and missing the next. The staff was aloof. Above-average restaurants at each end of the large parking lot.2017-06-15"

"The hotel room was nice, clean, and recently renovated. The staff was responsive, kind, considerate, and proactively helpful. The rates were fair, and I didn't have a single problem. Great exercise room, and convenient to key intersections.2023-02-12"
"I couldn't have been more pleased with this hotel. Nice check-in clerks. No breakfast provided.2017-03-07"
"Good motel for a reasonable price. The carpet in our room was filthy and turned my feet black. No counter space for toiletries in the bathroom. The employees made me feel comfortable. Breakfast was good, but the dining area was too small and didn't have enough seating.2019-06-06"

"The hallway on my floor reeked of cigarette smoke that carried into my room. I found a hair in the bed that wasn't mine. It seemed like there was a layer of grime on everything., and the chairs were stained. The wireless Internet connection was incredibly slow. There was blood splatter on the bathroom wall. No toiletries provided. The ride-share coupons I picked up in the lobby had expired several months earlier. Don't stay at this hotel.2016-10-10"
"Not a good value. The entire floor smelled bad. No phone, iron, or soap in the room. No exercise facility, and breakfast was minimal. There are much better hotels for the price.2015-03-20"

"Centrally located and close to stores. Good hotel clerks and breakfast. Stay here.2017-12-30"
"Difficult to find. The hotel and staff were top-notch, and the room was comfortable and large. The thermostat was locked in to a minimum temperature of 72 degrees, which was too warm for sleeping. Good bed.2017-02-20"
"The hotel room was spacious and comfortable. The only issue was a stain on the sofa. I liked that each floor had a seating area. Good room service and food. The staff was friendly, and the Red Cafe had a wonderful atmosphere.2016-04-19"
"Close to downtown. Economical. The hotel was in excellent condition, and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Great place to stay. I recommend staying here.2016-02-15"

"Very clean and comfortable room with nice touches; it was exactly what we wanted. We enjoyed breakfast, especially the oatmeal with condiments. The orange juice dispenser was broken 3 of our 4 days we stayed. This hotel was an excellent choice.2015-09-23"

"Close to the freeway, downtown, and hospitals. The hotel was nice, clean, and safe.2021-09-19"
"The room was nice, but the door frame and lock needed work; the door was hard to open. The hotel clerk was nice, professional, and helpful. The property entrance was tricky because of traffic patterns.2020-06-21"
"The hotel room was clean, and the staff was excellent. I had a pleasant stay.2018-08-29"
"Close to the university. The hotel room was large, and the front desk clerk was friendly.2017-03-27"
"The hotel room was quiet considering we were downtown, and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was well above average. Parking was too expensive, though. This is a quality place in a perfect location. Great experience.2017-02-15"
"Seems pricey given its location on a major highway. Average room; needed a reading chair. I saw bugs every day, and wasn't happy about it. The hotel clerks were friendly, accommodating, and informative about the area.2015-05-03"
"We were given a handicap room; water from the shower went all over the bathroom floor, and everything was at ADA levels.2022-09-05"
"The weather was quite cold outside, but I wasn't able to adjust the thermostat in my hotel room. It was always either too hot or too cold.2022-02-28"
"The hotel was clean. The only negative was the surrounding neighborhood and proximity to the bus station. There were homeless people in the area.2021-08-30"

"Convenient to downtown. The hotel room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. Helpful front desk clerks and good hot breakfast. The eating area was clean and inviting.2018-03-13"
"The hotel was fine and the price was OK, but the noise level from the freeway was high. The Bistro was closed the day we were there, and the fish restaurant next door was expensive and not good. I wouldn't stay here again.2023-01-27"
"The AC in our hotel room didn't work. We called the front desk and were told someone would be sent right up, but no one ever came and no compensation was offered. I was disappointed that breakfast wasn't provided, and the only coffee was expensive Starbucks.2016-03-10"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
