"Close to the highway. The rates were reasonable. There were some maintenance issues, but the hotel was clean. The front desk clerk was awesome and helped in every way possible. Nice, warm pool, though there was no whirlpool. Breakfast was enjoyable, and there was ample parking.2018-11-07"
"The 1st room had a filthy chair and non-working AC. We moved to another room; it was a little better, but the bathroom floor was sticky and dirty. The elevator and stairwell smelled bad. Find another hotel.2016-10-12"
"Good value. The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly.2016-03-31"
"Good rates. The motel room was clean, but it smelled a bit musty. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was fresh. Plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast was coffee and some sweet rolls. My needs were met.2022-04-25"
"I had the best experience. Don't be fooled by the low rates. The motel clerk was warm, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel appreciated. There were restaurants within walking distance.2019-04-08"
"Great location near restaurants; most were within walking distance. I loved that the motel was pet-friendly and had a grassy area for pets. The staff was friendly. Minimal selection at breakfast, and the coffee was strong.2016-10-12"
"The bedsheets were stained and had hair in them. I had to have housekeeping come and replace them. I wouldn't stay here again.2019-02-13"
"The hotel was a little outdated, but it was clean and reasonably priced. The front desk clerks were polite and courteous. Good experience overall.2017-09-13"
"I was not happy with my motel stay. There was a garbage can right outside my room, so every time I opened the door, flies came in. The carpet and several areas were filthy, and there was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. When I pulled back the bed covers, there was a bug on the sheets. I moved to another room, but it smelled like bug spray. The staff was nice, but that was the only positive. There was no continental breakfast or coffee, and the juice machine was broken.2018-08-24"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
