"Not worth the price. The hotel employees were nice, but the room was filthy. Even the toilet hadn't been cleaned. The carpet turned the bottom of our feet black. There was trash all over the grounds, and the police were there a few times. Bring your own cleaning supplies; you'll need them.2019-06-24"
"The hotel wasn't that clean, and it was noisy at night.2017-03-23"
"I was surprised about the $50 deposit for "incidentals." When I called the hotel and asked about it, they were unhelpful and hung up on me.2023-11-28"

"The hotel was clean and quiet, and the check-in clerk was polite and kind enough to engage in some small talk. The check-out clerk was nice enough, but not as friendly.2020-03-28"

"A terrific hotel. Good location with easy access. The room was comfortable, updated, fresh, and clean. The check-in clerk was delightful, and all the employees greeted us.2018-05-28"

"The hotel was pricey, and there was no complimentary breakfast. The bathroom needed cleaning from top to bottom.2019-08-01"
"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel even had a driver take us to a restaurant for dinner. Nice place to stay.2019-04-17"
"My request for a late checkout was denied. I asked if I could get a microwave and was told no. I asked if there was one in the lobby I could use and was told no again. The room was nice and there was plenty of parking, but the staff wasn't accommodating.2016-07-23"

"The rates were reasonable. The hotel was dated, but it was clean and well-kept and the bed was comfortable. Good shower. The continental breakfast was just OK, but it was better than nothing. 2019-05-20"
"Easy to find. The hotel room was good-sized and clean. Book it.2017-10-02"
"Good hotel. I forgot a toothbrush, though; there was a sign in the bathroom that said they were available at the front desk, but the clerk didn't have any. I was disappointed.2016-10-17"

"The motel was old. The TV and phone didn't work, and the 1st key card didn't' work, so I had to get another one. No elevator.2023-06-27"
"The motel was pretty loud, and the bed was uncomfortable. Don't stay here.2023-06-26"
"The room didn't look like online photos, and I didn't like the floral wallpaper. The busy decor made it hard to relax. The temperature control switches didn't work, but maintenance came right away and fixed them. The carpet was worn and needed vacuuming, and there were cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. When I told the front desk clerk that the key card wasn't working, I was told that the hotel was booked solid. People smoked marijuana right outside my room. Don't stay here.2023-05-29"
I loved that HotelGuides helped me find a hotel. You can try to search for one yourself, but this service was so helpful. Just click on the section of the Interstate you are driving on and you see a list of hotels that actually have rooms available.
On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
