"The hotel needed updating. The grounds were overgrown with weeds, and the lawn hadn't been mowed. The lobby trash cans were overflowing, and the floors needed vacuuming. The room was clean, but the bathroom needed updating. The check-in clerk was friendly, but didn't offer directions to our room or explain the easy access to the parking area.
