"The hotel was clean, and I was able to get a smoking room. Pets were allowed. Not a fancy place, but it served my purpose. Good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was OK. I'd stay here again.2023-03-07"
"The hotel was noisy and had cockroaches.2020-08-17"
"This hotel was disgusting. The 1st room had a broken bathroom door. The 2nd room had a dirty bathroom door, and there was dog hair all over one of the beds. We left feeling like we needed to shower. Don't stay here.2020-07-24"
"The hotel room had a terrible smell of cleaning chemicals; we had to sleep with the window open. The top bedsheet was dirty, and only a quarter roll of toilet paper was provided. Don't stay here.2020-01-02"
"Nice location and good rates. The hotel clerk was friendly; our microwave didn't work, and he was apologetic and let us use one by the office. The only negative was that our room was at the end of the hallway, and when people used the door nearby, it sounded like someone was trying to get in our room. We got used to it quickly, though, and would definitely stay here again.2019-05-26"
"Located on an I-70 service road, with a Shell gas station right down the road. The room was nothing special, but it was clean. The hotel clerks were extremely friendly and helpful. 2019-05-23"
"Close to the A-Train. The motel was clean and quiet. The room had AC and excellent ventilation. Breakfast was satisfactory.2021-07-31"
"The motel staff was rude, and the customer service was poor. Don't stay here.2021-06-03"
"The motel didn't have an elevator. The decor was dated, and the bathtub was plumbed backwards. Limited breakfast offerings, and the eating area was overcrowded.2016-06-27"

"Close to Parker Adventist Hospital. The room was average at best, and it had a bad odor. The AC ran continuously but barely kept the room tolerably cool. No USB ports, and only 3 electrical outlets. The hotel clerks were nice and quite accommodating.2021-07-27"
"We had an excellent stay at this hotel. All our needs and expectations were met. The room, kitchenette, and bathroom were clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful.2020-12-13"
"The hotel was nice, and the room was always clean. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and respectful. I felt safe and enjoyed the quiet.2017-11-19"
"The location didn't seem safe. There were people loitering in the parking lot when we arrived at 1 AM. The room smelled like smoke. The bed was tiny, and there was hair all over the sheets. When we complained to the hotel clerk, we were told that the sheets were changed twice a week, which was unacceptable. With some persuading, the clerk allowed us to move with our small dog to a suite that was cleaner. We had to have our key card re-programmed twice. The back of the building was poorly lit, and the entrance wasn't kept locked. Not a good stay.2017-10-06"
"The price was fair, the hotel room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The sink didn't drain well, and the shower faucet ran. Not happy about the $100 damage deposit hold on my credit card.2017-05-26"

"This hotel was the worst ever. The room was filthy and sparse. No blankets, and no kitchen supplies. Bugs filled the overhead light, and the floor was dirty and had bugs. The bathroom sink faucet was broken. Don't stay here.2021-09-24"
"Great service. I had an excellent stay at this hotel.2017-08-03"
"Nice area close to everything. I enjoyed having a kitchen in the room. I had a pleasant experience and recommend this hotel.2015-10-01"
"The bathroom ceiling leaked into the bathtub, and it sagged in places. There was a large gap where the ceiling and wall met. I asked for a room change, and the staff was helpful. Don't stay at this hotel.2021-09-26"
"I found a needle in the bathroom, so I didn't stay at this hotel.2018-12-28"
"The motel was overpriced and outdated, and there was a heavy cigarette smell throughout. The room appeared to be clean, but that's the only good thing I can say about my stay. The top bedsheet was stained, and there were cigarette burn holes in the blanket and pillowcase of my non-smoking room. A message light was flashing on the phone, and even the clerk couldn't make it stop, so I had to unplug the phone. The heating and cooling unit worked, and the bathroom was clean. Breakfast was just coffee, bottled orange juice, and packaged muffins. Don't stay here.2023-05-11"
"Good value. The room was clean, quiet, and cool; it was a hot day, so the AC was important. The motel clerks were pleasant and helpful.2021-06-21"
"I found a long hair in the shower. The toilet and toilet seat were loose. No syrup for the waffles at breakfast. I wasn't impressed with this motel.2019-06-25"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
