"We loved our stay at this hotel. Pretty good breakfast and supper. The US Mint was across the street, and the streetcar to the 16th Street Mall was just a few blocks away.2020-03-03"
"Close to Mall Street. Clean hotel with friendly personnel. Parking was scary, but the valet service was handy. Good place to stay.2018-11-01"
"Easy walk to the Denver Art Museum, the 16th Street Mall, and lots of other attractions. The room included a stocked kitchen. There were a few glitches with housekeeping, but the issues were cheerfully remedied. There was a small pool, and the whirlpool was great. Good breakfast, and the evening reception from Monday through Wednesday was a nice touch. Valet parking was available, and there were cheaper lots nearby. Book it.2018-10-24"
"Housekeeping was lacking at this hotel. Linens, towels, and toiletries were only replaced after 4 days if you're staying for 5 nights or more. No one checked to see if we needed anything. The toilet didn't flush well, and there was mold in the soap dish in the shower. The dining area was clean, and breakfast was good.2022-09-11"
"The location was excellent. The room was clean and comfortable but very small. Breakfast was crowded.2018-12-31"
"This hotel was the best of the best, and I had an awesome time. Stay here.2016-01-07"
"The hotel didn't seem clean, and it was located in a neighborhood with many homeless people. I decided not to stay.2023-03-27"
"The rates were too high. The area around the hotel was busy, so it was noisy on Friday night. The room was clean, but the phone and coffee machine didn't work. Breakfast was decent. 2020-03-08"
"The street was busy, but the property seemed secure. The hotel was shabby, but the room was clean. The AC was great, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. The beds were a bit soft, and the pillows were old. No fridge available. The employees were friendly, accommodating, and promptly addressed whatever issues we had. The continental breakfast was barely adequate. I'd stay here again.2018-07-24"
"The hotel was fine, the room was good, and the price was right. Gattara's Restaurant had great food and service.2022-02-03"
"Great location. The hotel room was nice and newly remodeled, and the staff was friendly. Not happy that the elevator stopped working at 2 AM; I'd returned from a concert and had to walk up to the 10th floor.2018-01-01"
"A wonderful hotel. Located right downtown near everything. The room was clean, and the staff was great. Breakfast and parking were expensive. 2016-11-11"
"There was no housekeeping service during our 2-night stay at this hotel.2022-07-05"
"An excellent hotel with courteous, compassionate employees. I got sick while I was staying here, and the front desk clerk went above and beyond to make sure I got to the ER quickly.2017-08-07"
"The hotel room was beautiful and spacious. Great customer service. Parking was odd; I'd recommend a cheap overnight lot nearby instead of using the valet parking.2016-04-18"

"I didn't like having the sink outside the bathroom. I had to ask to have the room cleaned every day. The rooftop bar was off limits most nights due to private parties. I had to go to the 2nd floor to get ice. I had a wrap at the coffee bar, and couldn't even tell what was in it, so I threw it out. Find another hotel.2019-07-02"
"Great location near the convention center. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. Valet parking was competitively priced for the area. I'd definitely stay again.2015-04-23"
"The hotel was average but clean. The beds weren't great; one sagged on the side, and the comforter and sheets were stained. We told the front desk clerk, but weren't offered a discount or another room. There was a small restaurant and bar on the 1st floor.2020-03-03"
"A top-rate hotel. Great location and great room. Breakfast at the on-site restaurant wasn't good, though, and the service was extremely slow. There were plenty of restaurants in the area, including a super bagel place across the street.2017-08-09"
"The hotel staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. They were helpful and warned us about calling for parking space. Needed more handicap parking.2023-06-06"
"Great location near shops and restaurants. Easy free shuttle to Union Station, and easy access to light rail. The hotel was clean.2017-01-03"
"The hotel was close to the theater. The bed was comfortable, but our room was too warm. Delicious cookies were available. Good accommodations; we recommend staying here.2018-02-21"
"The hotel had a lot of character and charm. Great location on a quiet street. The staff was helpful, and I loved the chocolate chip cookie each night. A great option.2016-03-02"
"Great downtown location and Aveda spa. I loved the hotel lobby, staff, and social hour. However, our experience was tainted by an issue with noisy guests in an adjacent room.2015-12-16"
I’ve been using HotelGuides for over 8 years. The agents are very helpful, and they try to accommodate every request. I like that when they email a booking confirmation to you, they include the hotel's address as well as its interstate exit number.
We order the hotels on this page by how close they are to this attraction.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
