"Excellent hotel. The room was nice, clean, and quiet, and the clerks were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the best. I wish all lodging was like this.2015-12-24"
"Nice personnel, but the hotel and furniture were dated. I was locked out of my room prior to checking out, so I had to make an extra trip to the office to get my key card reactivated. Good location, but pay more for a better experience.2017-04-08"
"The hotel was clean and had everything I needed. Great service, and I was able to check in early. The housekeeper was still in the room, so I was given a discount and 3 breakfast buffet tickets.2019-07-02"
"A pleasant hotel. Enjoy your stay.2016-07-08"
"We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Our room wasn't cleaned the last day, though we were out from 10 AM until 9 PM. We had issues with the gate pass for the parking lot, and an attendant had to let us out twice. Shop around.2015-12-30"
"Located about a mile from the Flyaway shuttle, though the neighborhood wasn't great. The hotel room was good-sized and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Check-in was pleasant and efficient. Decent free breakfast with hot food.2019-10-19"
"The motel room was clean and comfortable. I slept well. This was my 2nd stay here, and I'll be back.2022-04-13"
"The room rates were too high, and breakfast wasn't that good.2019-06-18"
"This motel was absolutely the best. The room was clean, toiletries were provided, and the housekeeping was excellent. You won't regret staying here.2018-10-13"

"This was a bare-bones hotel. We got what we paid for. No hangers, coffee maker, or hair dryer in the room. We had to go to the front desk for those items and dishes. One of the lightbulbs was burned out. Courteous front desk clerks. The grab and go breakfast in the lobby was pretty skimpy.2015-07-16"
"Not far from Malibu, and the rates were considerably more affordable. Great shopping area nearby with a grocery store and restaurants. Easy drive to LAX. The motel staff was friendly. We had a good 2-night stay.2018-09-19"
"Close to Pepperdine University and the freeway. Nice, clean, attractive hotel. The room was the right temperature, and I didn't hear any noise. The bed was comfortable; I slept through the night, which is unusual for me. No frills, but there was a pool and the price was right. There was a great Mexican restaurant in a little shopping center about a block away. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.2018-04-30"
"Convenient to Pepperdine and Malibu. Great value. The motel had good soundproofing, the room was clean, and the front desk clerks were friendly. All around a great stay.2016-04-17"

On place pages like this, we order hotels from lowest cost to highest except we list low-rated hotels at the bottom of the page.
Most of our competitors order these same hotels in other ways that make them more money.
How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
