San Francisco is on the northern tip of the San Francisco Peninsula. It is roughly 12 miles across the San Francico Bay from Oakland and 55 miles northwest of San Jose. San Francisco has a wide range of accommodations from motels to luxury hotels and condominiums.

Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10.
