"The room wasn't well-maintained, and the hotel clerk didn't speak English well.2019-06-01"
"I was traveling with my cats; my pet friendly room wasn't the cleanest, but it wasn't too bad. The hotel clerk was helpful and nice.2019-03-01"
"We had a bad experience at this hotel and were surprised by all the extra taxes and fees. The carpet in the room was dirty, and the bath mat had black mold on it. We asked for a replacement and got one, but the used washcloths weren't replaced; we had to wait until the next night to get some. The walls in the room and bathroom were dirty, and we were uncomfortable and disappointed. Don't stay here.2018-10-13"
"The hotel was older, and there was a bit of a funky smell when we walked in. The room was clean, and the bathroom in our room had been updated and was quite stunning. The staff was friendly, and the manager was engaging and interacted with guests.2022-10-10"
"Conveniently located. The motel was older, but it was well-kept. The rates seemed high. I'd stay here again.2021-09-03"
"Good place to stay. The motel room was quiet and clean, and all the employees were friendly and helpful. We were hungry, but the pub was busy with Poker Tuesday, and the restaurant wasn't open.2018-04-27"
"The motel staff was friendly. Bring your dogs and have a nice stay.2017-12-26"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
