"The beds were comfortable, and the AC was perfectly located on the wall at the base of the beds. Great view from our room. If you have mobility issues, ask for a handicap room. The bathtub in our hotel room was awkward to get in and out of, and the shampoo and body wash were too highly placed for short people. I actually appreciated that housekeeping didn't change the towels daily; it was nice to have our privacy. Breakfast was adequate.2023-07-25"
"The motel was comfortable and clean. I had some trouble figuring out the lamp switches. Great stay other than that.2022-10-03"
"Although the front desk clerk was amazing and accommodating, I wasn't impressed overall. The motel was smelly. Our room was musty. We asked for a late checkout, but our key cards didn't work in the morning. I wouldn't stay here again.2022-09-12"
"Great location on the waterfront in the heart of town. The room was clean and well-appointed and had a great view. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Stay more than one night.2017-05-01"
"The hotel was centrally located and close to the harbor walk. Our room was clean, but there was old food in the fridge. The staff was attentive and offered to book us a taxi to go to the airport the next day. 2019-05-24"

"I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The room was updated, spotless, and smelled fresh. Comfortable bed with nice linens. The front desk clerks were polite and cheerful. Ask for a quiet room away from Tim's drive-through.2015-10-27"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
