"The location was extremely handy for our needs, but the motel was in need of patching and fresh paint. No smoke detector in our room, and the AC hadn't been turned on, so it took a few hours before the room stopped feeling like an oven. The beds were too firm. The hot water in the bathtub ran constantly; we closed the bathroom door to block out the sound, but then it was like a sauna. The bottom of the pool looked moldy. We got tired of waffles being the only hot option at breakfast. OK for an overnight stay, but our 4-night stay was too much.2023-08-01"
