"The front desk was woefully understaffed. I called to let the hotel know we'd be late; the 1st call went unanswered. I was put on hold for 10 minutes the 2nd time I called. This caused me to be late for an event. No one was at the front desk when we arrived. As an older couple, we requested a room on the 1st or 2nd floor, but instead got a room on the 5th and highest floor. The room was spacious, but the flooring was mostly hardwood and ceramic tile, which was hard and slippery. There was only a tiny table and bench to put luggage on.
