"The overall ambiance of this hotel was unpleasant. There was noise from the highway, a lot of things were broken, and it smelled like smoke. The lamps in the room were all damaged, though most of them worked. The wall switch didn't appear to turn anything on. Decent beds. "The hotel clerk was knowledgeable, clear, and friendly. She made it pleasant and easy to check in. One of the back entry doors didn't open with the key, so I had to move the car to unpack. The room was quiet but had an overwhelming cigar odor even though the AC was on high when I arrived. When I turned it to low, the smoke detector went off for about a minute and then shut off, so I wasn't sure it was working properly. There was debris on the walls and hair on the towels, but the bed and chair were cozy. Great TV. Nice amenities, and no problem finding ice or coffee.2023-08-03 "
