"The bedsheets and towels were dirty. Find another motel.2023-04-30"
"This is a budget motel. Not at all fancy, but it was adequate. Located on a busy street. The room was clean, though the beds weren't great. The bathroom door handle was falling off. Breakfast was pretty nice and included hot selections, but the sausage wasn't ready until 20 minutes after opening one morning. The staff seemed pleasant enough. Bring your ear plugs if you're bothered by road noise at night.2017-10-03"
"The motel was quiet and easy to access. The front desk clerk was efficient. No problems, and I was able to have my dog in the room.2015-08-01"

"The hotel room was comfortable, and the front desk clerk was most helpful and friendly. Great breakfast, and the free shuttle service was a life-saver since there was no public transportation nearby. Stay here.2016-12-16"

"Good rates, and just a 5-minute walk from Allstate Arena and restaurants. The hotel was dog friendly, and I liked the quiet atmosphere. The suite was clean. Quick check-in and friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Plenty of free parking. I recommend staying here.2023-12-30"

"The hotel was sterile and minimalist to the extreme. It was hard to connect with the shuttle at the airport, and a phone call to the property wasn't helpful. Food options at 7 PM were limited. Not what I expected.2022-04-15"
"The hotel had no food options in the bar on Sunday except pizza. That was the only negative about our stay.2022-02-01"

"The hotel wasn't environmentally friendly, and there were unpleasant off-gassing fumes. The staff wasn't knowledgeable about the area, but the breakfast staff was really friendly. I had trouble getting a shuttle to the car rental site.2020-01-18"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
