"My room was clean and comfortable. Renovations were underway when I stayed, but all the active construction areas were well marked. Some machines were missing parts in the workout room. Breakfast was quite good. I recommend this motel.2022-06-11"
"A terrible experience. Avoid this motel.2018-05-07"
"My stay was fine. The motel room was clean, the staff was great, and everything went as we expected. We felt we got what we paid for.2018-01-17"
"The room wasn't that clean, and the toilet hadn't been flushed when I arrived. The hallways reeked of smoke. Don't stay at this motel.2018-06-04"
"The motel was pretty quiet during my stay. Basic room and not much else. Someone on my non-smoking floor was smoking marijuana, so I blocked my door and left the AC on all night to keep smoke from coming in my room. I liked the Belgian waffles at breakfast.2016-07-08"
"Our motel room was great, but it was by the stairs, and we heard thumping every time people went up or down. It was terrible. The staff was fantastic, though, and so helpful. Decent stay overall.2015-08-20"

"The motel was being remodeled. All the available rooms were smoking rooms, which wouldn't work for us, so the clerk found a newly remodeled room for us. At 6 AM, another couple tried to enter the room; they went away, and then there was banging on the door and a man yelled at us to come to the office immediately. We got an apology, but it was stressful and we left right away. Don't stay here.2022-06-22"
"This motel was terrible, and it wasn't pet friendly.2019-04-01"
"The motel room was basic and didn't have a fridge or coffee. Look elsewhere.2016-09-27"

"The hotel room was hot. The fridge was loud, and the heater cycled loudly every 15 minutes even though I turned it off. I left a night early so I could go home and get some rest.2016-12-27"
"Clean room with a comfortable bed. The temperature was easy to control. Quick check-in with a nice hotel clerk. Breakfast was good and had a variety of options. I've stayed here before and will certainly return.2018-09-30"
"Great hotel for the price. The room was clean, but the hallway and elevator were kind of stinky.2016-01-03"
"Convenient location, but it's on a busy street; exit through the shopping center next door to come out by the traffic light. The hotel room was comfortable. Nice stay.2015-10-17"
"No housekeeping unless requested. We were disappointed that the pool wasn't open. The food and condiments ran out at the continental breakfast, and the coffee was cold.2022-06-06"
"Everything in the hotel was either run-down or didn't work, though housekeeping did a good job. Don't stay here until it's been updated.2018-03-06"

"There was no comfortable chair in the room, and no bedside lamp for reading. The drains were clogged. Don't stay at this hotel.2020-02-10"
"Good value. The hotel was fine and what I expected. We had to exchange our used towels for clean ones, and the room wasn't serviced daily. We'd stay here again.2017-10-24"

"This motel couldn't have been worse. It reeked of smoke. Don't stay here.2016-04-28"
"Good value. The motel had everything I needed for a comfortable night or two. The room was clean but smelled a bit like deodorizer. Great TV, microwave, and fridge. The heater was noisy. Good continental breakfast plus waffles.2016-01-03"
"The hotel was nice and convenient. No mirror on the back of the bathroom door.2016-06-16"
"Being at an inn on campus was so convenient. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was super nice and helpful. Awesome complimentary breakfast.2016-03-14"
"A great historic inn. The room was spacious and quiet, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was clean. It was everything I needed. The key card was tricky. I'd definitely stay again.2015-09-07"
"The hotel room was nice, but we had to wait about 25 minutes for someone to come and check us in.2021-06-14"
"Nice hotel and great room. Loved the indoor pool and whirlpool Unfortunately, we had to listen to the screaming, crying children in the next room. When I complained to the front desk clerk, I was offered a bottle of water or a late checkout.2019-01-08"
"Not far from the VA Hospital, and convenient to stores and restaurants. The room was clean and odor-free. The hotel clerks were friendly, courteous, and professional and provided restaurant and cafe recommendations. A problem with the toilet in our room was immediately taken care of. Great exercise room, pool, and whirlpool. I'd stay here again.2017-02-10"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
