The downtown area offers many attractions, historic sites, and cultural amenities like museums, a symphony, repertory theatre, and the Arkansas Art Center. The William J. Clinton Presidential Library is also located downtown.
Locals favor walks and bike rides on the Big Dam Bridge and the Arkansas River Trail. Or spend a day exploring the River Market District, then take a break at Riverfront Park nearby.
If you want a more peaceful outdoor experience, head to Two Rivers Park and enjoy the scenery and a picnic. Riverfest, the largest festival in the state, is held on Memorial Day weekend, and features music and activities for the whole family.
