"Good hotel overall, but a few negatives stood out. The sliding glass shower door was didn't slide without extraordinary effort; every time I showered, water ended up puddling in front of the toilet. There were dead flies in the pool. The restaurant had a problem getting orders correct. Unless you're going to take advantage of the facilities, there are more affordable options.2021-05-20"

"Nice hotel with pleasant, clean rooms. The bathroom was a bit small. Our room smelled like smoke, and we'd asked for a smoke-free room. The staff was accommodating and gave us a different room. Housekeeping was diligent about cleaning for the virus. Go for it.2020-09-27"
"Centrally located. Great hotel experience. We didn't want to leave. Our room had a kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, as well as cookware and utensils. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was private, and large enough to unpack our toiletries. All the employees were positive and gracious. The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of choices, and the eating area was clean and kept stocked. There was sufficient parking with easy access. Don't hesitate to choose this hotel. You won't be disappointed.2015-06-29"
"Nice hotel in a good location. We were overall pleased with our stay, but we had trouble connecting to the free wireless Internet. The AC air in the bedroom was freezing, but in the living area it was hotter. The toilet was ADA height, but there was no walk-in shower in our handicap room. Not enough towels provided. The ice machine on our floor didn't work.2017-08-23"
"Close to the baseball stadium, but this hotel was a dump, and not a good value. It was old and disgusting; I wouldn't even sit on the furniture, which looked like it was from the 1960s. Don't stay here.2023-03-06"
"Easy to navigate the 2 miles to Banner UMC. Lots of take-out restaurants nearby. The room was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. Our 2nd night, we stayed in a room with a patio, which we enjoyed. The hotel clerks were so warm. Pretty grounds and pool, and orange trees abundant with fruit. Beautiful lobby bar, and they still had those great chocolate chip cookies. The restaurant was closed because of Covid.2021-03-11"
"Clean, comfortable room. The hotel clerk was awesome, and all the employees were pleasant when I met them in the hall; they always stepped aside to let me pass quickly and easily. We had a lovely stay.2019-04-07"
"The motel room was clean and reasonably priced, and the AC and TV were most satisfactory. The employees were attentive. The pool needed some attention. We appreciated the free breakfast and evening wine. We'd stay here again and recommend it.2022-07-23"
"I heard traffic noise in my room, and the AC and fridge made clicking noises. The stovetop was in terrible shape, and the microwave was only 800 watts. Limited TV channels, and the remote control was difficult to operate. The beds were terrible. The shower was counter-intuitive; I had to ask maintenance to show me how it worked, and since only one shower door moved, I got wet when I turned the water on. The hotel staff tried to accommodate my requests. Stay somewhere else.2019-10-11"
"Great experience. Beautiful property in the foothills. The location was convenient, and the amenities were good. I was upgraded to a suite at check-in. The hotel staff was friendly, efficient, and low-key. I highly recommend staying here.2019-06-02"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
