"The hotel room wasn't that clean; I found an old sock and garbage under the luggage stand. The beds were comfortable and clean, but the edges of the bathroom floor were dirty. The front desk clerk was friendly and sent us off with a bagged breakfast. OK for an overnight stay.2019-09-09"
"The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were awesome. An extra blanket would've been nice. No Bible in the room. The staff was friendly and courteous, and breakfast was good. I recommend this hotel.2020-03-10"
"The hotel room was nice and clean, but I woke up when I felt something against my leg and realized that the bedding hadn't been changed from the prior guest. There were coins in the bed. I told the morning clerk and was immediately offered another room for my remaining hours. I declined a move, but they changed the bedding and offered me a late checkout.2019-01-02"
"The hotel room was clean and quiet, and the bed was great. Nice breakfast. The entrance from 28th was awkward.2018-12-07"
"The hotel room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the pool was a big hit with my granddaughter. No much pressure in the shower, though, and there was no hot water at night. Still, I definitely recommend staying here.2018-09-11"
"Fairly close to Red Deer College and some great shopping. Economical hotel. The bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the complimentary breakfast was great. This property perfectly suited our needs.2016-04-18"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
