"I had a good stay, but my license plates were stolen while my car was parked in the motel lot.2019-02-25"
"The motel was clean, quiet, and convenient to restaurants. The only negative was that our room door wouldn't lock, but we were given another room. The bed was hard. It's fine for an overnight stay, but I wouldn't stay longer.2018-08-26"

"The hotel was nice, quiet, clean, and pet-friendly. The room was clean and always had plenty of fresh towels. The only disappointment was that the pool was closed. Good experience; I'd stay here again.2017-06-18"
"Pleasant hotel with courteous personnel.2016-02-11"
"Good value. The room was clean, but the garbage cans weren't lined. The front desk clerks were professional, and the hotel had great amenities. Breakfast wasn't that good, and there was no flavored creamer for coffee. A great choice overall.2017-03-29"
"Nice hotel room and great customer service.2021-03-18"
"We loved the serene atmosphere and country feel. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Good value, too. No late checkout, though. I recommend staying here.2018-05-28"
"Good rates. The room was small but good for an overnight stay. Not much counter space in the bathroom, and there was no coffee maker in the room. The bedsheets were stained, but the hotel staff was kind and courteous and moved us to another room.2018-04-22"

How Do We Define Motel?
To us, motels are smaller lodgings that have rooms you can enter directly from the parking area.
At hotels, on the other hand, you can enter your room only through a hall inside the building.
Hotel Booking Tips
Beware of non-refundable reservations that could cost you a lot of money if you change or cancel them. +Non-refundable reservations are a gamble that will usually save you less than $10. If you make a $90 non-refundable reservation instead of a $100 refundable booking, you are betting $90 to win $10. Would you do that in Las Vegas? -
Don't assume you can cancel a non-refundable reservation without penalty if you notify the hotel weeks or even months in advance. +Often you cannot because some hotels' profit strategy is to get paid more than once for the same room for the same night. -
Always read cancellation policies carefully before you make a reservation. + When is the latest date and time you can cancel without penalty? - More >
When you make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation email. Take a copy with you to the hotel.
The earlier in the afternoon you check into a hotel, the more likely you will get a room or suite that matches your preferences.
