About 10 minutes from the ferry terminal - non-smoking room smelled a bit like smoke; front desk clerk was helpful in changing our room - appreciated the free cookies by the front desk - good continental breakfast - a positive experience - Aug 2008

Previous guest hadn't left at check-in time; the motel was full, so we couldn't change rooms and had to stay in the dirty room - beds were comfortable, but we slept on top of them since the linens hadn't been changed - not a good experience - Dec 2008

Walk to downtown and good restaurants; short drive to the San Juan Island ferries - room was large, had good lighting - didn't like the tiny packets of shampoo - staff was helpful - nice stay - Nov 2008
