These hotels overlook the Gulf of Mexico. There are no buildings between them and the beach – just the seawall and the boulevard built on top of the seawall. The first floors of most hotels are even with or higher than the seawall.
The seawall is about 100 feet across. Walk across the seawall to the beach, which is 10 to 15 feet lower.
