Editor comment: Hotel is located on top of a hill overlooking ocean but has no beach access. Balconies are for standing only and offer no views from room. This hotel is hard to get a handle on. Parts of hotel appear run-down while parts look new and modern. The big pool area and fitness center are especially nice - Jan 2007

Hotel had strong paint fumes due to construction project - staff seemed bored - hot tub didn't work - 2 on-site restaurants were awful, and the food made us sick - Nov 2007
Room had a good AC and comfortable bed - check-in time of 4 PM was too late - enjoyed the whirlpool - room service food was good and hot - Oct 2007
