Liked the historic atmosphere - check-in was disorganized, and I was given someone else's paperwork - checkout clerk was asleep when I went to the front desk - wouldn't stay again - Apr 2011

Property was badly neglected - room was dirty - bedspread and curtains were worn and torn - paint was peeling - windows had no screens and were dangerous when open - heating and cooling system was extremely noisy and hard to regulate; we were cold all night - outlet sparked when I used the hair dryer - no electrical outlet in the bathroom - ceiling and bathtub tile were damaged - no hot water for showers - didn't see any sprinklers or fire escape - continental breakfast was packaged honey buns and granola bars - a disappointing stay - Oct 2009
Good rates - didn't look like online photos - room wasn't clean, and needed updating - no elevator - disappointed - Sep 2009
Close to the Lyric Opera House - liked the old architecture - hotel was dirty and in a state of disrepair - Aug 2009
