Convenient to SIU Edwardsville - no hot water for showers - there was no one at the front desk when I arrived; after waiting 15 minutes, I left to get something to eat - check-in clerk said I could check out early, but the checkout clerk didn't honor my request - ice machine on my floor didn't work properly, and the ice machine on the 2nd floor didn't work at all - May 2009
Good value - room was quiet, had a great view of St Louis - bed was hard and uncomfortable - nice staff - enjoyed the pool - Oct 2008
Near the university - room smelled like smoke, had to deodorize it ourselves - one bed had ashes and a cigarette hole burned through sheets; the other bed had hair in it, so we had to change sheets at 12:30 AM - check-in clerks had bad attitudes - Aug 2007
