Non-smoking hotel, but smelled like smoke - room had a broken AC - dirt and dust were visible on carpet and fixtures - there was hair on the bathroom counter - I called the front desk and asked that the problems be fixed while I was out, but the AC still didn't work after being worked on - no fans were available; I asked to change rooms, but was told the hotel was full - in the morning, I called for a washcloth and was told I'd have to wait until housekeeping arrived for the day; when washcloth was delivered, it was dirty - when I returned from an outing, I found that my bed had been made up with dirty linens, and there was makeup on my pillowcase - housekeeper brought up clean linens, and set them on the floor - room service food was cold - a ridiculous experience - May 2008
