Hotels near Anchorage Cruise Terminals
Many cruise lines advertise their port of embarkation or debarkation as Anchorage. However, Anchorage does not have a cruise ship port. Cruises going to or leaving from Anchorage use the ports in Seward or Whittier.

Seward Cruise Port – approximately 130 miles south of the Anchorage Airport. Driving time is about 3 1/2 hours. Train travel via the Alaska Railroad takes 4 hours and 15 minutes.
Seward serves as a port of call for Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Holland American Cruise lines.
Whittier Cruise Port – approximately 65 miles southeast of the Anchorage Airport. Driving time is about 2 hours. Train travel via the Alaska Railroad takes 2 1/2 hours.
Whittier serves as a port of call for Carnival, Norwegian, and Princess cruise lines.
